Residual Cleaning

What is residual cleaning?

Microbes live and grow by colonising areas and forming biofilms. Where there is a food source present they will create enzymes to break up that substrate so that they can replicate. This is the primary way in which Nature ‘cleans’ itself and brings a series of benefits when combined into the right biotech product.
  • Our microbes will continue to work while there is a food source present and double in number every 20 minutes
  • If the food source is completely degraded, they will hibernate as a biofilm until reactivated by a new food source
  • This provides a level of protection for the area treated

How can residual cleaning benefit you?

Beneficial bacteria are everywhere, even inside your own bodies, and the more beneficial bacteria present in an area can dramatically improve it’s overall health which provides a number of benefits
  • These beneficial biofilms compete with hazardous bacteria creating a much heathier environment
  • The biofilm will continue to work to eradicate the source of odours over time
  • The biofilm will continue to work to degrade organic matter over time
  • This makes cleaning less labour intensive easier, taking less time, providing long lasting odour control benefits
